For full acceptance to Lamar University and the Department of Art, all incoming freshman and transfers must complete an application to the university:

Students interested in art and design study at Lamar University are encouraged to tour the Department of Art. Tours are scheduled by appointment by contacting Admissions at 409-880-8888 or by contacting the Department of Art directly at 409-880-8141.
