STEAM Summer Art Camp

STEAM - LU Summer Art Camp

June 17-21, 2024

Open to high school students, including 8th, 9th and 10th grades.

The LU Summer Art Camp is an intensive week of exciting hands-on integrated learning activities and art projects. The STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) curriculum has been adapted to place “Art” back into the center of learning, creating STEAM.

Through the STEAM mindset, students learn that art and design are essential components to understanding the world, as they engage in problem solving through visual methods. The LU Summer Art Camp courses are designed to be concentrated and active. Each course will be taught by art and art education students from Lamar University
