Ashley Dennison is the Production & Audience Services Manager for the Lamar University Theatre and Dance Department. During the past decade, Ashley has worked with several local theatres and in the Greater Houston area as an actress and director. Two years of working with Tony-nominated actor Kevin Cahoon inspired her love for directing. Ashley graduated from Lamar University and served as an award-winning director for the Bear Stage Players of Little Cypress-Mauriceville High School for five years. More than 60 individual and team awards were earned by the Players over the course of those five years. Some awards include: 2 State Champions (Speech), 8 Regional Appearances (Speech & OAP) and 7 Championships from the District, Bi-District and Area levels (OAP). Her greatest accomplishment, however, is being a wife to her educator husband and mother of three boys. Ashley enjoys reading and cooking in her spare time.
