William Bruce Jacobs, adjunct instructor, teaches broadcast announcing at LU. Mr. Jacobs (also known as Will Gerard) worked professionally in broadcasting for many years as an announcer, voice-over artist and song writer, as well as acting on Broadway and in television and film. He has appeared in more than one hundred national TV commercials and is a member of SAG-AFTRA, ACTORS EQUITY, and ASCAP. The singing duo Sonny & Cher recorded his song "By Love I Mean."
