Since establishing G Sharp Productions in 1996, the award-winning writer, producer and director Gordon S. Williams has completed several multi-award winning independent film projects including The Story of Marcus and Reyna, The Greater Ambition, Gemini and Do You.

Along with his success with G Sharp Productions, the former Black Entertainment Television intern has garnered more accolades, producing award-winning television programs, commercials and documentaries for Lamar University Television Productions. In 2009, he was selected as a CUSH Magazine honoree for outstanding achievement in media/broadcasting.

In 2010, Mr. Williams had the opportunity to broaden his horizons. In addition to serving as talent for television commercials, print advertisements, he has ventured into sports production as a producer for Lamar Video, the Lamar University Athletics’ video department. During the summer of 2011, Mr. Williams was the unit production manager for Homebound, an independent feature film.

Mr. Williams directed/produced two seasons of Southeast Texas’ first and only family game show, Family Knows Best. In October 2012, he completed his sixth independent short film titled Not Like The Commercials that he wrote and co-produced. The project garnered several awards, participated in numerous film festivals across the United States and internationally. During 2013, Mr. Williams produced The Bounty Hunter, a western comedy for Ministry of Cinema. Overall, the independent film projects that Williams has written, produced or directed have screened at more than 60 different film festivals/venues winning more than 35 awards.      

Mr. Williams served as the vice-president for the Southeast Texas Association of Black Journalists and is currently developing several creative projects for television and film.
