Brandi is a working artist from the Beaumont area. She is a retired military veteran, having served in the U.S. Air Force. During her commission, while achieving the rank of Major, she managed the GPS satellite constellation, led flight operations at the Air Force's Space Test & Training Range and developed a 24/7 watch center for a USCYBERCOM mission force. During her military career and various duty locations, she cultivated a creative life by pursuing photography and a self-study of art history by extensively travelling to museums worldwide.

She brings her passion for art along with leadership experience to the Dishman Art Museum where she seeks to captivate not only the Studio Art & Design students, but also STEM students from around Lamar University's campus and the greater Beaumont and Houston audiences with engaging and enriching programming.
