Biography 

Dr. Gentry is an associate professor at Lamar University and currently serves as the Director of the Master’s Degree Program in Deaf Studies and Deaf Education. She has been training K-12 teachers in Deaf Education for the past 16 years (2000-2017). She also has 23 years of experience teaching elementary Deaf/Hard of Hearing students in mainstream programs in Louisiana public schools.
